Jess Richmond Wins The Curator’s Grand-Prize Award

Posted by on July 1, 2016 | Contests/Events

Jess Richmond, a recent graduate of Parsons School of Design, has been awarded Grand Prize in PDN‘s annual hunt for new fine-art photographers, The Curator. Her series, “The Madness of Many” brings her imaginary twin, “Connie,” to life. In each frame, Jess plays with spatial relationships, constructing in-camera illusions.

Richmond’s work will exhibit alongside the work of five other winners: Colin Kopp, Ellie Davies, Lacey Terrell, Tara A. Cronin and Susannah Benjamin.

Join us July 14 at Foley Gallery in New York City for the opening reception of The Curator group show (RSVP here), and visit the winners’ gallery to view the work from all six artists.
