PDN’s 30 at RIT in Rochester and Columbia College in Chicago

Posted by on September 25, 2013 | Contests/Events, Education

The fall season at PDN means that we’re gearing up for a new round PDN’s 30 seminars, coming soon to Rochester and Chicago.

“Transitions: Strategies for the Young Working Photographers” will be held at Rochester Institute of Technology on Thursday, September 26 and at Columbia College in Chicago on Thursday, October 10.

PDN editor Holly Hughes will moderate both panels, in which select 2013 PDN’s 30 honorees offer their perspectives on getting started in the photography industry. In a discussion that spans what they learned in school (and what they wish they’d been taught) to how they got their first jobs and much more, insights from photography professional panelists will generate career advice you won’t hear anywhere else. This seminar is a must for all new and emerging photographers.

Panelists for the RIT seminar include: PDN’s 30 2013 honorees Nicole Tung and Ty Cole, RIT grad Allyson Torrisi, now director of photography at Popular Mechanics and Sony Artisan of Imagery, Andy Katz
