Finding “Awkward Pleasures” on the Street

Posted by on July 12, 2017 | Photographer Interviews

Bangkok-born, New York City-based photographer Poupay has an eye for unusual moments in ordinary spaces. Her series “Awkward Pleasures” is a collection of street images that present the eccentricities of the seemingly mundane, which exist everywhere but require special attention to be seen. She writes: “There are little surprises hiding everywhere without our notice. Since I started seeing them, there is no such thing as a boring day.”
